British Youtubers

Here's a fun fact.

I was actually born in Kuching, but raised in England. My first language is actually English. And not that fancy Queen's English, the suburban English. I had the thickest Cockney accent! XD I returned to Malaysia at the age of 6 though, and the accent gradually faded away, which is actually such a shame. Though I find it does sometimes appear when I am randomly conversing with actual Brits.

I feel that my English has become soooo Americanized due to hours of watching all of these American TV series. I even had a bank staff asking me about my accent and I was sort of bamboozled by it.

However.

I have recently discovered some awesome British YouTubers that I am absolutely LOVING at the moment. And dare I say it? I might fancy them more than the American YouTubers. Watching British YouTubers, especially their vlogs, makes me want to jump on a plane to the UK and reminisce all the places I used to live and visit. :D So yes, that is officially in my bucket list now! I will try to achieve that in 5 years. Fingers Crossed! Now on to my favourite British YouTubers!

She is one of the funniest person ever! And her daughter Darcy is the one that got me subscribing! Totally adorable!!! She has a beautiful family, and her vlogs are so much fun to watch! She is so real, and genuinely funny that if I were to meet her in real life, I feel that I could befriend her instantly!

One of the top British Makeup Guru now and bff of Louise above there. She is sooooo cute! Her vlogs are also awesome and captivating! BTW, she just got the cutest guinea pigs! 8D

Tanya Burr

She is so fun and sweet! She seems like to have love for everybody! At times she can be clumsy (ie. in the kitchen lol) but she is so real! I don't feel like she is pretentious and such.

Bubzbeauty

Okay so technically she is actually Chinese, but she was raised in, waitaminute. Scotland? Ireland? I am pretty sure it was Ireland. Okay just googled. She is from Northern Ireland. Yes! Got my accents right! :D I have to say though, lately I am enjoying her vlogs so much more than her beauty vids. Just because I can't stop laughing my arse (see what I did there? XD) off to them.

Omg, she is sooooo pretty! Her eyes are so round and her lashes are, gah. I love how honest she is when she review stuff, that some might find her being snobbish and complaining but to be honest, the accent sort of does make anything you say sound fancy. LOL. Her vlogs are also awesome and she usually includes her very good-looking husband in her videos who is super funny. And her dogs are precious! :D She is also the first British YouTuber I subscribed! So thanks Fleur!

My latest find over the weekend! She is sooooo gorgeous! In such a natural way.She doesn't wear a heavy load of makeup from what I can see in her videos, just bright lipsticks. But I guess it helps if you have the most gorgeous eyes evarrrrr! She is also super cute and funny. And her accent definitely brings back memories! :)

This is a hidden gem!!!! It certainly deserves more attention! Just finished it first season last week and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I am a huge fan of Kat Dennings since I saw her in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist! She is just soooo pwetty!!!! 

I have to say the humour is pretty much on the low end semi-racist, sexual connotation side, but it is undeniably funny as hell!!! So much sarcasm to be enjoyed!!! It's noce to have finally found a female-centred sitcom where so much girl power is shown! Love this! Can't wait for the next season to start! 8D

New YT Addiction - Ellen :)

I have always ALWAYS loved Ellen Degeneres!

She is funny as hell! I used to watch her every day when her show was shown on Star World! They should bring back the awesomeness!

Her show is always so fun and entertaining! I dare you not to smile or laugh while watching it.

Then I discovered her channel on YouTube. It was like a ray of light beaming on me when I found it.

And then started the late nights and lack of sleep because I am constantly watching clips from her show and LMAO in my room. Hahahahaha.

I think my favourites would be the segments on Clumsy Thumbsy, What's Wrong with These Photos?, Great As Seen on TV Products  and also the Oh, Come On! And watching her scare her guests are just too awesome.

Of Workouts and Angels

Yes, definitely a weird title for a post.

But, to justify it and actually knock some sense into the title, the other day I was working out in front of the TV while watching Victoria's Secret 2011 Fashion Show (seriously, there was nothing else on TV! Damn.) I don't know whether to say doing so is a good idea or a bad idea. Let's narrow down the reasons shall we?

Why Working Out While Watching Victoria's Secret 2011 Fashion Show is a Good Idea:

• Motivates the hell out of you to achieve something that would actually resemble them
• The awesome songlist for the show that accompanies your workout
• Checking out the super awesome and cute lingerie and trying to figure out if Wisma Satok has any dupes for them
• Getting inspiration for makeup and Halloween costumes (not that I celebrate Halloween)
• Maroon 5's performance of "Moves Like Jagger" (ADAM LEVINE. ADAM LEVINE. ADAM LEVINE.)

Why Working Out While Watching Victoria's Secret 2011 Fashion Show is a Bad Idea:

• Demotivated with a realization that you'll never have the perfect abs and limbs as the Angels do.
• You will constantly be shouting out "DAFUQ ARE THOSE ABS? DAFUQ ARE THOSE BOOBS? DAFUQ IS THAT???"
• The slow motion shots of the angels will make you cringe at their perfectness. Damn.
• Complaints on unfairness in life will be constantly muttered.

Okay, it's a good thing the Good List outweighs the Bad. Ha. Ha. Ha. I actually did a mixture of both lists really. LOL.

My favourite Angel has always been Orlando Bloom's wifey; Miranda Kerr:

I think my favourite thing while watching her strut her stuff down the runway was watching Orlando Bloom taking pictures of her. Haha. Y U TWO SO CUTEEEEEE???!!!!

But there was one particular aspect of the 2011 show that I really loved:

SUPER ANGELS!!!

WANTS WANTS WANTS.

I am motivated to lose weight just for the fact that I want to fit into superhero outfits like these and try to look at least half as good. I am such a nerd. XD

Japan Trip 2011 - Ebisu Garden

I am a huge fan of Japanese Drama Hana Yori Dango or Boys over Flowers as some of you may know it.

I'm a bit sad on how everyone seems to make a fuss over the Korean version and not giving the Japanese version a chance at all. I know for a fact that the Korean version is nearly 30 episodes. I bet you can at least try and sit through the entire 9 episodes of season 1 and the 11 episodes of season 2 of Hana Yori dango. (=_=)

Seriously. It's straightforwad, way more funnier and just plain awesome. I've watched the Korean version too and I liked it, but not as much as the Japanese version. =)

So of course, being in Tokyo, I just had to take a picture at the legendary Ebisu Garden place where Domyouji Tsukasa was waiting for Makino Tsukushi in the rain for their first date. AWWWWWWW.

Where I am leaning is exactly where Matsumoto Jun leaned in the drama!! Kyaaaa!!! And the red carpet walkthrough is where they performed the wedding ceremony in the movie for the finale!!! *excited*

Looking back at these photos makes me want to rewatch the series all over again. =')

New Marathon!

Yes yes yes, new marathon going on! Currently in the middle of completing 8 frickin' seasons of this:

I remember watching this a few years back, and absolutely loved it!!!! Two words. Ashton. Kutcher. Oh and another two words; Mila. Kunis. Love them both! Ashton as Michael Kelso is so wacky and vain in this, he really does enliven the show.

Also thanks to Wilmer Valderrama as Fez, whose favourite line "YOU SON OF A BEETCH!" is really stuck in my head now. Haha. I blame his funny slang. We'll never know where he's actually from will we? LOL.

I love this show more and more! The setting is so dandy and watching it gives you such an amazing 70's vibe especially with the clean-cut dialogue with 70's slangs and such. So much fun! You can get a lot of funny quotes from the series too! xD

So I finally finished watching all 4seasons of Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place. I miss Dr. Michael Bergen (Ryan Reynold's character) already. I love the ending though I wish there was another season just to complete it properly. Somehow season 4 seemed a bit too compact.

Anywho.

I have started my serial watching with Popular! I remember the days when this was shown on TV2 and how pretty the cast is.

However, I also remember that I couldn't watch every episode since it was at 10pm and it was on a school night so I basically could just watch it on days when the next day was a holiday. I was so disciplined back then, LOL.

And also because I am a lousy person to be waken up. Seriously. Pour a bucket of water over my head and I just snooze right back. Ha.Ha.Ha.

Apparently there's only 2 seasons of it, so I am thinking this won't take long to finish. I am loving every minute of it. My OTP would obviously be Harrisson (Christopher Gorham, READ: Ugly Betty's Henry!!!!) and Sam (oh sho pwetty Carly Pope!)! But it's soooo contradicting when Harrison is falling for the head cheerleader who's the girlfriend of the football team's quarterback WHO btw Sam has a crush on. Yeah. The complications of High School. Either you love it or hate it.

Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place

Aaah.. this definitely brings back memories. I think NTV7 aired this back in the late 90's or was it early millennium. Haha. Early millennium wtf. I love love love sitcoms if you can't tell already. I can sit through any comedies and enjoy every bit of it. Providing that it's good.

And hey, Ryan Reynolds is a plus. Ngahahaha.

I love how close girls and guys can be without having a romantic spark and just be all buddy buddy (Yes, Pete had feelings for Sharon in Season 2, but oh well, friendship trumples over love anyways.) Because I have lots of guy friends who I am comfortable with and I see them as brotherly figures as we joke and talk whenever we see each other.

Some say it's hard, nearly impossible to have guy friends without having any romantic feeling for them. I doubt that. It's how you set your mind and how you view a person is what makes your perception on them waver when you start thinking otherwise.

Nevertheless, I love this series! Ryan Reynolds is sooooooooooooooooo cute/hot/cute and adorkable! I think I have watched most of his works as he is one of my favourite actors, right at the top of my list. Hehehehehehe.

So if you're wondering if I have watched his latest work......

Ryan Reynolds in skintight green suit with portruding 6 packs and muscles. Urm, DUH. Of course I watched it within the first week of its release. Ngahahahahaha.

I give it 4.5 stars. Loses half a star because I think the movie was a bit too short for me. LOL.

Ugly Betty-athon

Were you one of those people back in the days where Venezuelan tv series were all the rage??? Because I definitely was. XD

I was the kid who upon reaching home would rush to the TV to catch all the drama, and with this type of series, OH THE DRAMA!!!!! LOL.

Of course, my favourite would be Yo Soy Betty La Fea, so when Salma Hayek was producing the English version a few years back, I was through the roof!

Of course I missed out on most of it, since I was studying and the TV is shared making it even harder to watch when most of them prefer the Malay dramas. =__=

So recently I DLed the entire 4 seasons and going on a marathon with 'em!!! 8D

But I have to say this, I so ship OTP Betty and Henry!!!!!!!!!! <3333333

OMG henry is so cuuuuuuuuuuttteee!!! I love how he would say something nerdy out of the blue and say "it's just something I know..." XDDD *glomps Christopher Gorham* I remember watching him from watching "Popular" and loved him in that!

Hmm. Now I feel like DL-ing Popular! 8DDD No, must finish Ugly Betty first! *slaps self*

But towards the end of Season 1, another cutie popped up! OH GIOOOOO~!!!! Super adorable!!! Gah, I have a thing for guys with medium length hair. XD But I know in Season 3 or maybe 4, he styles a crew-cut. But I so prefer him with long hair!!! *points below*

Argh. Betty is so lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I'd still prefer this hotstuff!! (who btw is married with 3 beautiful kids!!!)

Finished watching PLL Season 1 last night.

I. AM. NOT. HAPPY. AT. ALL.

On Completing Watching WGM

WHAT WHAT WHAT GOT SO DEPRESSED WATCHING THE FINAL EPISODE OF WE GOT MARRIED *Adam Couple Cuts* THAT I CALLED MY CARRY SISTER AND ASKED HER WHY SHE MADE ME WATCH IT IN THE FIRST PLACE WHAT.

Then I found out that she herself hasn't even watched the final episode because she was so sure she'd crumble down to bits too.

Then after my phone call she did watch it.

And soaked her face towel with tears.

Then I got all depressed again. wtf.

On being representatives for Korea in Hong Kong's Chinese New Year Parade. Lots of Engrish. Especially GaIn who's terrible at English could self-promote to the CNN reporters. LOL. Famewhores indeed. XD





Who could forget the beautiful InStyle Wedding photoshoot???? And the memorable first kiss????? It took a while for them to get there (JoKwon why are you so scared of making the first move??? You're always imagining skinships! XD) they got there! LOL.
