Thanks to my husband sharing this on my FB wall, I have been watching it every day for the past few days on repeat.

I am a huge fan of BuzzFeed!

If you haven't discovered the website yet, you should! For me it is a nice alternative from the usual memes and trolls on 9Gag, which I love, by the way. But sometimes I would love to read something that is actually linked to the real world for once. Haha. So I discovered BuzzFeed and I check it nearly every hour of the day when i first found out about it. Now it is more a daily morning routine. :p

I haven't been checking it out for a while so when I scrolled through it this morning, checking out all the stories I have missed out, I apparently had scrolled down to the very end. And guess what popped up?

I am an educator. And being an educator, sometimes you face the weirdest and funniest answers you never imagine possible for a student to think of.

I bet any fellow educators reading this can agree with me on this matter, no matter what subject you are teaching.

There are times when you go through your students' homework and essays, you just feel like strangling it or pull out your hair reading their "creative" answers.

This is when this stamp comes in handy:

 

Yes, extremely useful for those moments.

But what happens when the answers are mindblowingly out of topic or totally ridiculous in every way possible?

Simon's Cat

A new subscription I made on YouTube is for this channel called Simon's Cat:

I read that it was based on his real experience with his cat. And all the videos are super cuuuuuuuuttte!!!!

You must watch them all! There are only about 24 videos at the moment, but each one is precious! I have to say my favourite is still Double Trouble, the one that made me a huge fan in the first place. Check it out!!!

Coca Cola Lipbalm

Some may find it gross. Some may find it weird. Some may find it fascinating.

I find it a bit addictive. XD

It smells strongly like Chupa Chups Coca Cola lollipop.

And *cough* tastes like it too. LOL. 

Despite all that, it is really moisturising, and affordable too.

But this would definitely be a bad bad bad bad idea for fasting month!!! Haha!

Hectic Life is Hectic

I've been uber busy lately with a gazillion things going on all at once.
Things that I wish I could blog, but only until everything is confirmed, because I kind of don't want to jinx it. Ha. Ha. Ha.

Classes have been going on smoothly so far, there are the odd bits here and there, but thankfully, everyone seems to get the hang of it. I think 4 classes is really a bit much to handle though. The ideal amount would've been two really. My friends and I rarely have lunch together now. We used to have lunch together every day! It seems like this semester is just a typhoon of work. *faints dramatically*

There are so many things I actually want to blog about, with so many photos I want to upload, but hopefully I can actually properly do an update soon. For the time being, wish me the betterment of health please. =)

1) Fine 

This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2) Five Minutes 

If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3) Nothing 

This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4) Go Ahead 

This is a dare, not permission. Don’t Do It!

5) Loud Sigh 

This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.) 

6) That’s Okay 

This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7) Thanks 

A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you’re welcome. (I want to add in a clause here – This is true, unless she says ‘Thanks a lot’ – that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say ‘you’re welcome’ . that will bring on a ‘whatever’).

Is a woman’s way of saying F– YOU!

9) Don’t worry about it, I got it 

Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking ‘What’s wrong?’ For the woman’s response refer to #3.

Something to ponder on the next time you're watching a horror movie..

Has anyone watched Final Destination 5? I  covered my eyes at about 80% of the movie. I don't mind ghosts. But gore.............. BLERGH. Makes me feel all queasy and stuff. The fact that I was fasting did not help at all.

Weekend Updates!

Okay so for the PPAU bowling tournament.

In short, I kinda sucked. I'm not really consistent with my bowling skills. I mean, I turned out to be really good for the Faculty team selection for tomorrow's University tournament and somehow sucked during the PPAU tournament last Saturday.

At least one CLS team got into the top 3! Congrats to Ustaz Azhar, Faidz and Damien! *clapsclapsclaps*

So now, yes. I'm actually freaked out. I even tried to bribe Damien into going as me in my place, just put on a tudung and some makeup and he's ready to go. Haha.

Maybe I should take Damien's advice for tomorrow, just throw myself at the pins and I'm guaranteed a strike.
