Raya Photoshoot

My dad had always talked about having professional photos taken by for our family photo, but never really got to it. So when I saw that my favourite photographer had an offer for Raya shoots, I immediately suggested it to him and yeay! We got ourselves a shoot last Sunday!

We just got our photos 2 nights ago, and we were busy browsing through and selecting one for our family portrait. The photos were all brilliant by the way. Totally worth every cent. Love love love! Photos will be up soon! (^_^)v

Azam kedua ialah berusaha mengurangkan berat. Hahaha.

Father's Day

I baked and cooked for Father's Day. Which is a miracle that rarely occurs in a year, haha. :p

I figured since the tickets are reasonable, I might as well take some time off before the semester starts!

It's been a while since I last met them so yeah, impromptu trip! =p

(Not-So) Wordless Wednesday

As you can probably tell, being the camwhore I am, there are hundreds of photos just SCREAMING  to be resized, watermarked, and uploaded here. The time will come, my lovelies, MWAHAHAHA~ *rubs hands together, raising eyebrows*

The trip was awesome, that's all I'm saying because I want to save my stories for future posts. Ngaha.

By the way, I have a few important events coming up soon, the first one is on this Friday, and the next one is on Tuesday. BIG BIG BIG EVENTS. The probability of blogging about either one might be low, but if I am motivated enough, well, you may just find out about it. Ngehehehehe.

Oh, and I have a sorethroat and my nose is filled to the brim with mucus. Yes, I am disgusting, I know. Can you imagine how hard it is to teach in front of class when your throat is all funny and nasally because of the mucus buildup??? BLEURGHHHHHHHH.

A Post from The Land of the Rising Sun

Alhamdulillah.. I arrived safe and sound. 

The international terminal has sure changed a lot from the last time I've been there. Which was about, 3 years ago if I'm not mistaken. It seriously is a shopping complex. You'll feelike you're at Pavillin with all the super expensive shops. (=_=) Everything is so overpriced.

I did not experience any delays, thank God. And as advised by Salmi,, slept the entire way, only waking up to eat. =p Oh, and the sight of the rising sun on flight was beautiful!

The weekend was spent fully in these two places XD:

The moment we landed, I bought my own train pass, and we headed off to Disney Sea. We were slightly late compared to the early comers but it's smaller than Disneyland, so we thought we'd utilize the next day fully for Disneyland. Oh and there's only ONE Disney Sea in the world. 

The moment I step in, it brought back a lot of childhood memories!!! I've been to Euro Disney in Paris when I was about 5 during my parents' PhD years in London. But there weren't a lot of things I remembered from that trip. So it was definitely a reminiscent moment for me. =') And yes, we spent our Aidiladha with Mickey, Minnie, all the princesses, seven dwarfs, etc. LOL.

So you can expect a lot of photo-spamming posts upon my return. XD

And btw, the internet here is bad-ass fast. XD

Meet My Cuzzie

Yes, a post that was waaayyy overdue. Bulan Syawal dah habes, baru sebok nak post gambar raya. Smua gambar terperuk dalam kamera kumpul debu imaginasi. Haha.

Sekarang baru rajin nak transfer gambar, nak resize, nak watermark. Not a lot to tell, gambar ada la nearly 200 from first week of Syawal, sebab memang takde lekat kat rumah except during my Open House, hari lain sibok jalan raya dengan geng skolah, pegi ke hulu ke hilir jalan raya. I think this was one of my most productive Syawals, really.

Since I can't really sumbat everything in one post, I'll just go bit by bit if I am Super Rajin and if anyone nak tau sangat how my raya went. Uhuk Uhuk. Macam ada je orang nak baca sangat. Any silent readers? *umpan dengan gula-gula Cloud 9 Ice Lemon Tea*

Jalan Gawai!

My first Gawai ngabang!!!

Not really my first, but definitely the first time for me to go to my OWN friend's house! And it was quite an adventure!!! LOL!

I, despite being a Kuching city girl, am crappy with roads. LIKE IMAGINE SOMEONE REALLY BAD AT ROADS, THEN MULTIPLY BY 10. Seriously. I often get asked, "Are you sure you're from Kuching?" I can't help it if I don't get around much. I'm too afraid of getting lost. =__=

So there I was, invited by my hosem buddy Damien to come over to his kampung in Bau. The only times I pass by Bau are when I got to Serikin, usually with dad driving, and me sleeping. *facepalms* So thank you Google Map for providing me the route to Kampung Suba, Bau! 8D

You gotta love technology. LOL.

Since I obviously can't drive and look at the map at the same time, I dragged along my bf to accompany me and ZOMG THANK GOD we didn't get lost. Accompanied by multiple phone calls from Melisa (whose house is across Damien's) we got there safe and sound. And we were warmly welcomed. Yay.

We had fun joking around with some of Damien's work friends from Limbang and made tons of fun of this really crappy drama on TV that was in Sarawak dialect. I couldn't take the storyline seriously!!!! haha!

Then Damien brought us along to his "friend's" home not far from there. Ngahaha. "Friend". Yeah, right Damien. I'd put up his friend's picture but I'm too scared that he'll hunt me down. Buahahahaha.
